He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernard Murphy and Louise Murphy; his sister Helen Kossuth; and his brother-in-law Donald Kossuth. He is survived by: his wife Shirley A. Murphy; his sons, Patrick (Lorie), Timothy and James; and his grandchildren, Brooke, Ella, John, Jarrett, Logan and Nicholas.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 30th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Murphy Funeral & Cremation Ontario Chapel (1961 Ridge Rd, Ontario, NY 14519). A funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, May 1st 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. Mary's of the Lake Catholic Church (5823 Walworth Rd, Ontario, NY 14519). A committal service will be held on Thursday, May 1st 2025 at 11:30 AM at the St. Mary's of the Lake Church (5823 Walworth Rd, Ontario, NY 14519).
