It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Michael Plantenberg of Ontario, New York, born in Herkimer, New York, who passed away on July 6, 2021, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Leo Plantenberg and Eleanor Plantenberg; and his daughter-in-law Theodora Plantenberg. He is survived by: his wife Patricia Plantenberg; his children, Deb Cumpston (Tom), Kim Peek, John Plantenberg, Rebecca Seymour (Will) and Sarah Plantenberg; his grandchildren, Jeff (Bridgett), Karissa Cumpston, Irini Korte (Richard), Eva, Michael, Lillian Plantenberg, Hannah, William Seymour and Josh Peek; his great grandchild McKenna Cumpston; his sister Marilynn Mowris; and his sister-in-law Peggy Rudolph (Gary). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
