With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of James R. DeCann Jr. of Ontario, New York, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 11, 2024 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his sisters, Viola Moose, Teresa Pieters, Janet Downey and Irene Ridley. He is survived by: his wife Phyllis; his children, Denise Cialini (Dave), Rhonda DeCann, Chris DeCann (Erica), Michael Bebernitz (Tammy), Cheryl Wygal (Charlie), Teresa Vascukynas (David), Jeremy (Brie) and Ryan Bebernitz (Amanda); his sisters-in-law, Joan Huff (Fred) and Marie Laufenburg (Jim); his former wife Jeanne DeLyser DeCann; and his pet SirAvon. He is also survived by grandchildren; (7) great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations in loving memory of Jim can be made to the Heritage Baptist Church.
