He is survived by: his children, Irma East and Thomas Langley; his grandchildren, Amanda Langley, Holli Hartman and William Hartman III; his great grandchild Primrose Jane Hartman; and his sister Eletha Braun (Vern). He is also survived by his nieces and nephews.
