She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Knapp and Martha Knapp; her son Richard Rickman; and her brothers, Ray and Dennis Knapp.
She is survived by: her husband Jim Makins; and her children, Debbie Stults, Karen Kelly, Doug Makins, Lynn Myers (Bob) and Rick Makins (Natalie). She is also survived by many grandchildren and great grandchildren; several brothers and sisters; many nieces and nephews.
