It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alan Johnstone of Ontario, New York, born in Rochester, New York, who passed away on January 1, 2021, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Gertrude Johnstone and Allen Johnstone; and his siblings, Donald Johnstone, William Johnstone (Rick) and Mary Fitch.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia Johnstone; his children, Cassandra Osborne (Paul), Alan Johnstone, Jr. and Brent Johnstone (Fang); his grandchildren, Brittany Gefell (Sean), Garrett (Caitlyn Wicks), Michaela and Sara Johnstone; his great grandchild Anndi Rae Gefell; his siblings, Dorothy Snyder, Richard Johnstone (Mary) and Sharon Bennett; and his sisters-in-law, Joyce and Jeanne Johnstone. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
