Mary Iuanow Obituary
We are sad to announce that on January 4, 2021, Mary Iuanow of Onondaga Hill, New York passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, George Katholos and Katherine Katholos; her husband James Iuanow; her daughter Sophia Iuanow-Lemonides; and her siblings, Dina Gianopoulos, Harry Katholos and Patricia Vasiliades.
She is survived by: her children, Nicholas Iuanow (Kim) of Alpharetta, GA and Katherine Dourdas (Peter) of DeWitt, NY; her son-in-law James Lemonides of Chicago, IL; her brother Nick Katholos (Kalliope) of Seattle, WA; and her grandchildren, Alexandra Lemonides, Christina Lafferty (Todd), Nicholas Dourdas, James Dourdas, Evan Dourdas and Grace Iuanow. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Due to Covid-19, services will be private for immediate family only.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Mary to The Alzheimer's Association of CNY or to St. Sophia's Greek Orthodox Church.
