He is survived by: his wife Cynthia Jelliffe of Oneonta; his children, Evan Heaney (Toni Vilardo) of Syracuse and Alison Heaney of Oneonta; his sister-in-law Judy Heaney; and his nieces and nephews, Craig, Brian Heaney, John Bourgeois, Joann, Dorothy Bourgeois, Pam Bolson (Larry) and Kim Farkas.
