With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Victor H. Umbach of Oneonta, New York, who passed away on December 27, 2024 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, George Umbach and Jenella Umbach (Cole); his wife Peggy; his grandson Jonathon Scott Umbach; and his sisters, Marian Griffith, Ellaner Hubbard and Shirley Rode.
He is survived by: his children, Karen Lewis, Jeffrey (Tammie Umbach), Kevin Umbach and Heather Umbach (Amanda Miles); his grandchildren, Jenella Mulhall, Michaela, Jeffrey Lowe, Brandi Force, Brad Seeley, Tyler, Caitlynn Force, Courtney Force and Wesley Jackson; his great grandchildren, Tori, Amelia of John, Lennox and Jace; and his sister Imogene (Jim Boone). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Lewis, Hurley & Pietrobono Funeral Home (51 Dietz St, Oneonta, NY 13820). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
