Thomas Julian Speranzi Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Thomas Julian Speranzi (Oneonta, New York), who passed away on December 2, 2023, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Julius Speranzi and Mary Speranzi (Molinari); his siblings, Joseph, Anthony, Andrew, Caroline Mauel and Ann Briguglio; his nephew Mark Speranzi; and his daughter Elaine.

He is survived by: his wife Grace Baranowski; his sons, Thomas Speranzi (Deb Harvey) of Oneonta, John Speranzi of Oneonta and Robert Speranzi (Arlene) of Oneonta; his grandchildren, Marie Herring (David) of Manassas, VA, Thomas Speranzi (Jen Clark) of Belleville, IL, Rachel Speranzi (Rusch) of Jacksonville, NC and Marisa Speranzi of Oneonta; his great grandchildren, Josiah Herring, Kendall Herring of Manassas, VA and Tommy T. Speranzi of Belleville, IL; his siblings-in-law, Ruth Smith, John Baranowski and Bonnie Baranowski; and also Judy Hernandez Speranzi. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

Years later he joined Fox Links gym and worked out and swam seven days a week until COVID 2020.
