Carlson Sr. of Oneonta, New York, born in Brooklyn, New York, who passed away at the age of 74, on February 15, 2025. As Steven departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Steven may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Steven leaves behind.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Francis "Frank" Carlson and Frances Carlson (Zumpano); his wife Jane Carlson (Connolly); his sons, Christopher Carlson of Germantown, Steve Carlson, Jr. of Riverhead and Matthew Carlson of Oneonta; and his grandchildren, Thomas and Rosalie Carlson.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 23rd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Lewis, Hurley & Pietrobono Funeral Home (51 Dietz St, Oneonta, NY 13820). A vigil service will be held on Sunday, February 23rd 2025 at 5:00 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass will be held on Monday, February 24th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Mary's Catholic Church (39 Walnut St, Oneonta, NY 13820).
