Richard F. Gorence Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Richard F. Gorence of Oneonta, New York, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 25, 2025 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank C. Gorence and Marie Gorence; his wife Lillian Gorence; and his daughter Katrina M. Gorence. He is survived by: his sons, Richard B. Gorence (Paula), Brian Gorence (Carlene) and Jeffrey Gorence (Mikalina); his grandchildren, Thaddeus Gorence, Brianna Grenier (Nick), Zachary Gorence, Gabrielle Guerrette (Joel), Max Gorence (Beth), Caroline Gorence, Katherine Gorence, Relena Gorence and Anilena Gorence; his great grandchildren, Elle Gorence and Claire Guerrette; and his sister Katherine Downey (Bennett).
A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM and on Wednesday, May 14th 2025 at 1:00 PM.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Richard's honor to the American Legion, 279 Chestnut Street, Oneonta, NY 13820 or to donate your time by visiting veterans in a nursing home.
