He is survived by: his children, Richard "Rick" Sobers Jr. (Deanne Decker) of Oneonta, NY and Geri Delamater (Jamie) of Oneonta, NY; his granddaughters, Emma and Lindsay Delamater; and his siblings, Jean Eckert of Oneonta, NY, David Sobers (Jean) of Albuquerque, NM, Kathy Powers of Ballston Lake, NY and John Sobers Jr. (Cathy) of Oneonta, NY. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
