He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis Delaney and Helen Delaney (Fullington); his brother Francis "Bud" Delaney; and his brother-in-law Harry Post. He is survived by: his wife Barbara B. Delaney of Oneonta; his daughter Dana Delaney; his granddaughter Annika Delaney of Newton, Alabama; his stepsons, James Brooks (Kelly) and William Brooks (Charon); his stepgrandchildren, James, Harley, Hannah, Halona Brooks, Nick, Ashlie Armando, Faith, Ashlyn and Alyse Morrell; his siblings, Jim Delaney of Rochester, Letha Post of Franklin and Bonnie Morenus (Dick) of Newark Valley; his nephews, Rick Post (Carrie), Butch Post (Bonnie), Steve Post and Steve Morenus (Shannon); his sisters-in-law, Rita Knapp of Laurens, Mae Vanalstyne of Otego, Becky Welsh of Cooperstown, Zelda Smith of Laurens and Sheri Clapper (Will) of Tennessee; and also Rachel Jackson. He is also survived by 5 step-great grandchildren.
