She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph F Mitchell and Harriett Mitchell (Rathbun). She is survived by: her husband Charles David Barnes; her siblings, Betsy, Ronald Brazier, Joseph and Christine Mitchell; and her nieces, Mary (David Stalder), Amy (Craig Harvey), Erin Stalder (Nicolas Stalder) and Meredith Smithling.
