LeRoy G. Stiefel Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of LeRoy G. Stiefel (Oneonta, New York), who passed away on February 7, 2025 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this luminous soul, let his loved ones carry forward the torch of his memory, illuminating the path ahead with the warmth of his love and the brilliance of his spirit. Though LeRoy may journey beyond the horizon of our sight, his essence remains woven into the very fabric of our being — a guiding light in the darkness, a beacon of hope in the night.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Donald Stiefel and Margaret Jordan Stiefel; his wife Bett Greene; his sons, Michael Stiefel (Amy) and LeRoy Stiefel (Christine) of Williamsburg, VA; and his sisters, Margaret Garwatoski of Canton, GA, Robin Hughes (Steve) of Gilbertsville, NY and Donna Young (Lee) of West Laurens, NY. He was also cherished by four grandsons and one great grandson.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the St. James Episcopal Church (6 Elm St, Oneonta, NY 13820).
