It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Lampman Smith Jr. of Oneonta, New York, born in Hudson, New York, who passed away on July 15, 2021, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, John Lampman Smith Sr. and Arvesta Smith (Pectal); his daughters, Linda McLean (Jack) of Cohoes and Jill Stoecklin (Jim) of Hartwick; his grandchildren, Brett McLean (Megan) of Latham, Heath McLean (Sarah) of Orlando, FL, Brooke Stoecklin of Port St and Morgan Stoecklin of Hartwick; his sister Shirley Fingar; his son Roger A. Smith; and his great grandchild Mea Grace Stoecklin. He was also cherished by three great-granddaughters.
