It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jacqueline Hamblin of Oneonta, New York, born in Sandusky, Ohio, who passed away on December 3, 2023, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, John Robert and Dorothy Kahler (Monroe); her husband Junius Hamblin; and her siblings, Donna and David.

She is survived by: her daughters, Diane Hamblin and Rachel Ainslie-Hamblin (Warren); her grandchildren, Georgia, Ida and Martie Ainslie-Hamblin; her stepsister Kathy Haase (Joe); and her sister-in-law Barbara Kahler. She is also survived by cousins, nieces and nephews.

When I moved into my first apartment she sent me the "I Never Cooked Before" cookbook. She helped me understand there are usually more than two sides to every story. I was so lucky our paths crossed.
