With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Irene J. Ovenstone of Oneonta, New York, who passed away on May 20, 2023 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Leon Burdick and Kate Burdick (Brownell); her husband Robert James Ovenstone; her son Vernon; her sister Hazel Kingsley; and her stepbrother Howard Burdick.
She is survived by: her children, Vaughn Ovenstone (Helen) and Vera Benson; her grandchildren, Elizabeth Pitt and Vernon Ovenstone Jr.; and her great grandchildren, Octavia, Taven, Kolten, Roxlynn Pitt, Desire, Terrell and Arianna Ovenstone. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
