She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Lyman and Catharine Moore Sharp (Allen); her significant other Harold Silliman; her husband John New; her siblings, Ruth Cairns, Frank Sharp and Elmer Sharp; her son-in-law Cecil Lubitz; and her brother-in-law Robert New.
She is survived by: her children, Lois New of Clifton Park, Nancy New of Oneonta, Kenneth New (Laurel) of Fleming Island, FL and Chris New (Alesia) of Windermere, FL; her grandchildren, Kendra, Jared, Cyara and Julia; and her sister-in-law Elsa New. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
