We are sad to announce that on April 1, 2025 we had to say goodbye to Carolee F. Wright of Oneonta, New York, born in Cedaredge, Colorado. Leave a sympathy message to the family in the guestbook on this memorial page of Carolee F. Wright to show support.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Toivo Kangas and Theresa Kangas; her in-laws, John and Betty Wright; and her son-in-law Steve Bednarz.

She is survived by: her husband Ralph Wright; her daughter Kelly Bednarz; her grandchildren, Adam and Casey Bednarz; her sister Annabelle Cocci; her cousins, William Martin (Doris) and West; and her friends, Jim, Susie and Jimmy Pochy. She is also survived by her sisters-in-law and brother-in-law as well as several nephews and a niece.

Visitation was held on Monday, April 14th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Johnston & Stanimer Funeral Home (60 S Broad St, Morris, NY 13808). A funeral service was held on Monday, April 14th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to support a scholarship for girls from Gilbertsville to attend Girls State helping to continue Carolee's patriotic legacy.

We will miss her. I will miss not thinking of her showing up at our Laurens Ladies reunions and talking to her even when she was not at my side because it seemed as if she could hear me,”
