With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Betty J. Waters of Oneonta, New York, born in Walton, New York, who passed away on March 18, 2023 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, George Scofield and Eleanor Scofield (McCullagh); her husband Roger Duane Waters; and her siblings, George Scofield Jr., Richard Scofield, Barbara Mullineaux, Gary Scofield and Bruce Scofield.

She is survived by: her son Scott A. Waters; her grandchildren, Scott A. Waters Jr., Alyssa G. Waters and Kylee R. Waters; and her siblings, Linda Banks, Carol DeSilva and Pete Scofield. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
