She was predeceased by: her parents, John Conte and Theresa Conte (Cirillo); her husband Edward C. Colwell; and her son John E. Colwell. She is survived by: her children, Stephen, Debra Colwell of Vermont, Ann, Tom Tillapaugh of Oneonta and Jeanne Merkel of Oneonta. She is also survived by many grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
Donations in her memory are asked to be made to St. Mary's Church, 39 Walnut St, Oneonta.
