It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alan Brian Smith (Oneonta, New York), who passed away on February 8, 2025, at the age of 60, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Dorothy Smith and Sherman Smith, Sr.; and his brother Sherman Smith, Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Sharolynn Guile; his sister Margaret "Peggy" Smith (Howard); his sister-in-law Serita; his nephew Jose; his children, Alan, Jr. (Sabrina) and Samantha Romanelli (Thomas); his grandchildren, Gennaro, Gianna, Vivian and Lorelai; his son Perry (Brittany); his grandson Lincoln; his sons, Russell and Steve Clement; his grandson Donovan; and his son Gordon Aldrich 3rd. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
A celebration of life was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Bookhout Funeral Home (357 Main St, Oneonta, NY 13820).
