He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parent James Hafele; his spouse Frances Arnold; his children, Amber Arnold of Rome and William J. Hafele (Holly Smith) of Durhamville; his stepchildren, Barbara Gross Ward (Ron Souba), Betty Gross, Timothy Gross of Rome and William Gross, Jr. of Rome; his brothers, William Hafele of Floyd and Thomas Hafele of Floyd; his mother Betty; his son-in-law Richard Arnold; and his sister Donna. He was also cherished by several grandchildren, sisters, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
