Putman, Jr of Oneida and Ed Happle (Sue) of Oneida; his former spouses, Stephen H. Putman of Oneida, Rebecca Gostling (Fred) of Oneida, Michael Putman of Solsville and Matthew Putman of Annapolis, Maryland; his children-in-law, Norma Happle of Oneida and Daniel Piper of Georgia; his siblings, Connie Fort (Walt) of Oneida, Roberta Cannito (Phred) of Fulton and Robert Putman (Chong) of Washington, DC; and his children, Deborah Piper and Joseph Happle. He was also cherished by nineteen grandchildren, seventeen great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
