He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Robert Cochran and Alecia Cochran; his wife Linda Cochran; and his children, Bobbijo Sgarlata, Jason Smoyer, Catherine Lirette, Matthew Smoyer, Ryan Cochran and Ashley Howard. He was also cherished by fifteen grandchildren.
