With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Richard L. Austin (Oneida, New York), born in Utica, New York, who passed away on January 16, 2022 at the age of 71. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Austin and Wanda Stoker Austin; his wife Georgeanne Atkinson; and his siblings, Irene Mininger, Lawrence and Alan Austin.
He is survived by: his children, Michelle Austin of Rome, Ricky Austin (Jill) of Fort Walton and Timothy Austin of Albany; and his siblings, Marilyn Romano of Liverpool, Debra Klein (Dale) of Florida, Pamela Austin of Syracuse, William Austin (Kathy) of Montana, Gerald Austin of Oneida, Mark Austin (Julie) of Michigan and Jonny Austin (Donna) of Florida. He is also survived by seven grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
