He is survived by: his children, Richard Carlisle Burns Jr. of Louisville, Kathryn Carlyle Burns of Cazenovia, Jill Louise Burns of Stamford, CT, Owen Matthew Burns of New York City and Roderick Weaver; his wife Constance Weaver; his significant other Anne Ross of Port St; his sibling Sheila Thomes of Southhold; his grandchildren, Brooke Burns, Timothy Carlin-Burns, Brendan (Sarah), William (Carolyn) and Thomas Driscoll (Emily); his brothers, Nick and Owen; and also Jim.
