She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Waldo; her parents, Joseph Knittel and Anna Margarete Stocker Knittel; her children, Thomas, Marianne, Barbara, Julie (Christopher), Martin (Rene) and Christopher (Regina); her sister Erika; her nephew Jürgen Ulrich; and her brother Ernst Knittel. She was also cherished by "Oma" not only to her grandchildren but to extended family.
