He is survived by: his wife Ellen; his children, Anne Salerno (Allen Salerno) and Douglas Wayland-Smith (Amy Wayland-Smith); his grandchildren, Ian Salerno, Abby Wayland-Smith and Natalie Wayland-Smith; and his siblings-in-law, Carol Kopp and Lang Hatcher. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
