She was predeceased by: her father James Berry; her stepfathers, Richard Phillips, Jr. and Bruce Buss; and her granddaughter Autumn Winchell. She is survived by: her family N. Carolina; her close friend James E. Jones, Jr.; her son James; her daughter-in-law Caitlin Whipple of Fayetteville, NC; her daughter Melissa Whipple of Canastota; her mother Mary Phillips (Murphy) of Oneida; her stepmother Susan Buss of Oneida; her brothers, Mark (Andrea Buss) and Christopher "Mike" Buss of Oneida; and her grandchildren, Avery Whipple, Braden McMahon, Scott Winchell III, Jacob Winchell and Destiny Whipple.
