She is survived by: her spouse Edward T. Burns of Oneida; her son Thomas; her sisters, Shirley and Barbara; her daughter Ann Cox; her son-in-law Vincent Cox; and her grandchildren, Kathleen Cox, Dana Cox and Brendan Cox.

In accordance with her wishes, her family will not be holding a memorial service, but asks instead that you please make donations to the Friends of the Bethlehem Public Library (via crowdrise.com/elizabeth-burns.
