He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur E. and Bertha Pederson Closson, Sr.; his daughter Tammy Marie Lee; and his siblings, Constance Closson, Rose Collins, Carol Fox, Frank, Harold and William Closson.
He is survived by: his wife Helga Rissman; his children, Christine Fiacco of Skaneateles, Arthur E. Closson III (Jennifer) of Oneida and Kurt R. Closson of Oneida; his son-in-law George Lee; and his sisters, Kathryn Collins (Glenn) of Munnsville, Sylvia Closson of Dolgeville and Patricia Merrifield (Charles) of Canastota. He is also survived by seven grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
