She was predeceased by: her parents, Stewart V. Smith and Mary Mildred Dunn Smith; her son John J. King, Jr. (Jackie); her sister Joan S. Helmer; and her brother-in-law Dr. William F. Helmer (Eileen Kenny Helmer).
She is survived by: her daughter Christine Calogero; her son-in-law Michael Calogero; her grandchildren, Matthew and Clare; her nephews, William S. Helmer (Maureen) of Delmar, Stephen Helmer (Susan) of Manlius and Michael Helmer (Lori) of Summit; her niece Mary Claire Helmer (Ethan Sewell) of Morrisville; and her children, Billy, Katie, Elizabeth Helmer, Maura Conway (Jack), Caroline Langhurst (Jimmy), Meg Costello (Mike), Annie Barbera (Nicolas), Michael Helmer, Jr. (Kelly Waters), Grace Catherine, Andrew, Christopher, Daniel Helmer, Mary and Sean Lynch. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
