With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ruth Halstead of Olivebridge, New York, born in Kingston, New York, who passed away on June 14, 2021 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Johnson and Florence Johnson (Davis). She is survived by: her husband Purdy A. Halstead; her children, Alan H. Halstead (Margie Smith) of Poughkeepsie and Maryanne F. Sasser (Perry) of Bridgton, ME; and her grandchildren, Daniel G. H. Halstead of Red Hook, Matthew A. Halstead of Mishawaka, IN, David I. Halstead of Rhinebeck, Zachary P. Kelly of Olivebridge, Kyle Smith of Poughkeepsie and Rick Smith of Pleasant Valley.
