He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfonzo Edward Bruyer and Matilda Anderson-Bruyer; and his wife Rosamond L. Swanson Bruyer. He is survived by: his children, Connie Truax of Kabob, Robert Bruyer (Tammy) of Olean, William R. Bruyer Jr. of Livonia, Carolyn Hebner of Kabob and Barb Abbey of Florida; and his grandchildren, Alicia Truax, Jennifer Johnson, Robert Bruyer, Krystal McGuinness, Lori Brockelbank and Melissa Fricker. He is also survived by twelve great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be donated to National Leukemia Foundation, Chautauqua County Humane Society or Lakeshore Humane Society.
