He was predeceased by: his parents, James E. Kightlinger and Milla Crandall Kightlinger; his wife Betty J. Malone; and his brother James Kightlinger. He is survived by: his former wife Helen L. Mason; his children, Thomas D. Kightlinger (Ann) of Olean and Deborah S. Alicea (Lenny) of Limestone; and his stepchildren, William, Paul, Max Malone and Darla A. Togrin (Lawrence). He is also survived by many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
