With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ruby A. Skroback (Olean, New York), born in Allegany, New York, who passed away on January 27, 2021. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Oakley and Catherine Lauer Phearsdorf, Sr.; her husband Steven E. Skroback; and her daughters, Denise Skroback of Allegany and Valerie J. Skroback.

“Denise, I am so sorry to hear about your mom's passing. I loved your mom. I miss the days of Catholic Daughters. I will think about the last time I saw you,both,at Ried's Food Barn last fall. She looked real good. Next 4th of July, I will think of her when we have our fireworks and will make sure to send up a very loud one so that she can hear it from heaven. I am sorry that I didn't make it to the funeral home but I fell a week or so ago and hurt my ribs, and haven't been moving to good. Love,”
