She was predeceased by: her parents, Michael Brinkman and Anna Brinkman. She is survived by: her husband Peter Nachtwey; her children, Peter (Diane), Donald (Jennette), Anne Schneckloth (Rick) and Paul (Megan); and her grandchildren, Peter, Molly, Sadie and Andrew.
