He was predeceased by: his parents, John Gebauer and Minerva Moon Gebauer; and his siblings, Curt, Leon, Luke, Clinton Gebauer, Ila Maynard and Jeannette Chapman.
He is survived by: his wife Candace Smith; his daughters, Glenda R. Scott (Donald) of Olean and Lisa E. Smith of Busti; his grandchildren, Amber, Thomas, Mandy, Jessica, Devin, Abram and Jayna; his great grandchildren, Shaylyn and Tré; and his sister Betty L. Keyes of Great Valley. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
