He was predeceased by: his father Charles Thropp; his sons, Alan Thropp and Steven Thropp; and his brothers, Charles Thropp and James Thropp.

He is survived by: his son Daniel Thropp of Andover, NJ; and his grandchildren, Steven, Zach and Kirsten Thropp. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
