He is survived by: his spouse John Mullen; his children, Julianne Dodson (Jeff) of Tobaccoville, NC, Christine Edwards of Vinton, VA, Valerie Shaw (Ronald) of King, NC, Betsy Dickerson (Adam) of Norfolk, VA, Courtney Balcerzak of Virginia Beach, VA., Philip L. Balcerzak, Jr. of Virginia Beach, VA. and Brianna Balcerzak of Virginia Beach, VA.; his siblings, Phyllis Washburn of Olean, Stephen Balcerzak (Karen) of Olean, Rita Williams (Ron) of Allegany, Marcia Martinez (Patrick Stavish) of Olean and Mark Balcerzak of Olean; and his aunt Anna Lee Donnelly of Olean. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
