She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph A. Piazza and Rose Buscaglia; her husband John E Anderson; her son John Anderson; and her sister Mary Louise Dillman.
She is survived by: her children, James Anderson (Sherri), Beth Bowman (Chris) and Michael Anderson (Daina); her grandchildren, James Christopher Anderson, Michelle Anderson Tippit, Michael Bowman, Stephen Bowman, Matthew Bowman, Mitchel Anderson, Sarina Anderson, Allysa Anderson Kemp and Autumn Anderson; and her siblings, Basil Piazza (Mary Ann), Sandra Holland (James) and Fred Piazza (Gina Hens). She is also survived by 3 great grandchildren.
Josie was a long-time member and served in many capacities of Business Professional Women's Foundation in Olean and Orange County and Newcomers Club.
