She was predeceased by: her parents, Murl Bates and Elinor Arthurs Bates; her husband Leonard A. Kohl; her son Jeffrey Kohl; her brothers, William Bates and Richard Bates; and her son-in-law Gerald Gibbons.
She is survived by: her daughters, Pamela Brown (Stanley) of Bradford, PA, Diane Gibbons of Rochester and Elizabeth Somers (John) of Penn Yan. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren; several great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
