She was predeceased by: her parents, George Mooney and Pauline Larkin Mooney; her husband Gerald E. "Spyder" Shorter; her brother Francis Mooney (Minnie); and her siblings-in-law, Robert Shorter, Clarence, Evelyn Bird and Laura Hilliker.
She is survived by: her children, William Erway, Jr. of Shinglehouse, PA, Anthony Erway of Olean and Carrie Boyd (James) of Coudersport, PA; her granddaughter Brianna Erway; her stepdaughters, Marcie Shorter of Las Vegas, NV and Jerri Williams of Arkansas; her sisters, Betty Haskins of Bedford, OH and Jo Anne Washington of White Stone, VA; and her siblings-in-law, John Hart (Carmen) of Hanford, CA, James Hart of Olean, Darryl Hart (LaFonda) of Strasburg, PA, Mary Hemphill of Olean and Linda McClain of Olean. She is also survived by several great grandchildren.
