He was predeceased by: his foster parents, Harry Heishman and Helen Heishman; his wife Elaine M. Fie; his sister Grace Springer; and his granddaughter Lynn Neubauer.
He is survived by: his daughters, Karen Morin of Los Angeles, CA, Lori Holmes (Jeffery) of Allegany and Gayle Rockey of Allegany; his grandchildren, Nicholas Morin (Kelly) of Los Angeles, CA, Casey Morin (Ari) of Los Angeles, CA, Marisa Morin of Los Angeles, CA, Timothy Fortuna (Amanda) of Roanoke, VA, Brian Fortuna (Kara) of Allegany, Jeffrey Holmes of Alabama, Brittney Holmes of Port Charlotte, FL, Marcie Rust (Eli) of Great Valley and Bradley Peterson of North Carolina; his great grandchildren, Max, Aiden Morin, Miles Morin, James, Elizabeth Fortuna, Sofia, Payton Fortuna, Cheyenne, Abigail, Theron Rust, Emily and Lina Neubauer; his sister Janet Watson (John) of Carlisle, PA; his foster siblings, Donald Heishman of Carlisle, PA and Twyla Kaufman (Pete) of Carlisle, PA; his cousin James Clouse (Pat) of Carlisle, PA; and his friends, Dave Barton and Shannon. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Unfortunately, due to pandemic restrictions, the use of the First Baptist Church of Olean is not available for use, so in Christian love, the American Legion will serve as the location for his public funeral service on Wednesday (December 2, 2020) at 1pm.
