He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth G. Crandall and Patricia A Batesky Crandall. He is survived by: his wife Patricia A. Jobe; his son Kyle Crandall of Olean; and his sister Susan Crandall Chiapuso of Allegany. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, 13 Beech Street, Johnson City, New York 13790.
