He was predeceased by: his parents, Leslie P. Tarr, and Ruth Champlain Tarr, Sr.; his wife Debra L. Kline; his daughter Tina J. Fanton; and his siblings, Leslie P. Tarr, Jr., Mary Dash, Barbara McDonald, Rose Marie Mattison and Keith Tarr, Sr..
He is survived by: his children, Buffy L. Gardner (Leon) of Little Genesee, Kelly J. Snyder of Wewahitchka, FL and Jason E. Tarr of Bolivar; his grandchildren, Chayse, Rhyley, Autumn, Courtney and Sheldon; his great grandchildren, Brynlee, Declan, Kington and Ellison; and his siblings, Gary Tarr (Angel) of Allegany and Shari Common of Portville. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Allegany County Meal On Wheels.
