It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elizabeth Pappas (Olean, New York), who passed away on April 15, 2020, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Elizabeth Pappas to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James Pappas and Mary Kainurgiu Pappas; and her sister Rose. She is survived by: her sister Betty; and her close friends, John, Mary Ellen, Bradley Karuch, Betsy, Matt, Liam, Brendon, Kellen Donnelly, Rhea and Paul Carls.
In 2002, two years after her sister died, Betty established the Rose Pappas Foundation to assist people in need, particularly the elderly and the handicapped, through "acts of kindness".
